Well for starters since there aren't many tree farms in the "loop", we travel the long .5 mile to the Kroger parking lot, trudge through the asphalt in the subfreezing 70 degree temps, pick out our tree, and then...have it delivered! Man, I love living in the city and living where all the rich people live- you can get anything delivered! Afterwards, we went to Michael's and bought ornaments for my real-live Christmas tree. I haven't decorated a tree in 2 years. To say that I am beyond excited is a gross understatement.
Merry Christmas to us! Our tree will be delivered tomorrow. Let the decorating begin.
