I just finished saying goodbye to my parents who were here for a week. My parents love to visit and I realize they are mostly visiting Piper, but it was nice having some company (and babysitters). We went to the Children's Museum on Wednesday. Piper had a blast running around and playing. I managed to get a few pictures, but let's be honest...who really wants to see the back of Piper's head or some blurred shot of her running off?So here are the 2 that I did get and still one of them is of her head:
Thursday we were held hostage in our home waiting for the Comcast guy to come and reconnect my cable that was mistakenly disconnected on Tuesday. Long story and rather irksome, but after 5 phone calls and waiting nearly 3 days to get my service back...I'm hoping they make it right on my bill or there will be a blog post aptly titled "COMCAST SUCKS!"
Speaking of something sucking, I finally got to see Eclipse. I dragged my poor friend to it. She had never read the books or seen the first 2. So I was interested to hear her response to the movie: "What makes this girl so special?" and "The dialogue is really slow." My thoughts exactly. I liked the movie and would probably go and see it again for Bob. Even though I know how the series ends, I still have mad love for Jacob. I still hope Bella picks him. *sigh* I digress.
Today I went to the Farmer's Market. I really love the Farmer's Market and I know not all markets are created equal, but Bloomington has an AMAZING Farmer's Market. They had corn, squash, giant soft ball sized tomatoes, potatoes, berries, peaches, herbs, meat, eggs, plants, breads, and more! I went with $20 and came back with a bag full of goodness. I feel like I helped a farmer and exercised my freedom to choose healthy non-steroid injected, pesticide free products. Now, I need to slip on some birks and take my recycling out.
